Western Cape
1. At AfriCamps at Doolhof in Wellington, you MAY pop in at Doolhof’s tasting room for a complimentary wine tasting, and grab a free cup of coffee with your meal at Mila restaurant.
Destination Doolhof has so much to offer from hiking trails to picnics to e-biking. During winter, Doolhof’s cosy tasting room and the popular Mila restaurant are some of our favourite places to warm up. Head over to the Doolhof Tasting Room for your complimentary wine tasting from Mon – Fri at 08:30 – 17:00, Sat from 09:00 – 17:00 and Sun from 09:00 – 16:00. Enjoy lunch or a piece of cake from Mila restaurant and Mila will serve you a cup of coffee on the house! Mila is open Wed – Sun from 09:00 – 16:00.

2. At AfriCamps at de Pakhuys in Cederberg, sample a jar of Kalamata Olives, and take 15% OFF your massage treatment enjoyed from the comfort of your own tent.
The Cederberg is a great weekend destination for Capetonians. Cosy up next to the indoor fireplace, or gaze at the starry night sky from your private outdoor wood-fired hot tub. 4. At AfriCamps at Stanford Hills in Stanford, guests MAY head to the cosy Tasting Room for a complimentary wine tasting.
Stanford Hills’ Tasting Room restaurant has a reputation for laid-back fun, with an emphasis on fresh and inventive food of an exceptionally high standard. The chalkboard menu changes daily according to what is locally fresh and available, including items from their very own vegetable garden. The estate’s wine selection compliments every meal of course.
Sit back, relax and soak up the Stanford farm life while enjoying a complimentary wine tasting. Kids can enjoy the outdoor play areas, and a visit from Crackling the pig is not uncommon.

5. At AfriCamps at Pat Busch in Robertson guests MAY stop by the farm shop for a complimentary coffee.
There is no shortage of family fun at AfriCamps at Pat Busch from hiking and swimming to fishing and kayaking on the farm dam. A visit to the farm shop is also a must. The farm shop is bursting with gifts and delicious glamping essentials. Pop is to see what the farm shop has in store, and enjoy a cup of coffee on us!

6. At AfriCamps at Kam’Bati in Swellendam, guests MAY enjoy a complimentary pizza to share at Peckish, the onsite restaurant.
Kam’Bati River Resort is a go-to destination for families looking to enjoy the great outdoors together. The kids love the activities on offer like putt-putt, the swimming pools, river walk and little book exchange. After a morning of adventure, come and enjoy lunch at Peckish, the farm’s on-site restaurant. We will serve one pizza to share, but we know you’ll want to stay for more!

7. At AfriCamps Klein Karoo in Oudtshoorn, you MAY save 20% when booking our Klein Karoo Combo – book both our Meerkat safari and Ostrich farm tour and save 20%!
AfriCamps Klein Karoo’s popular farm tours have captured the hearts of glampers since day one in 2015. This May, come and experience the Meerkat Safari and the Ostrich Farm Tour at a reduced package fee. Our experienced guide will collect you from your tent from where you will enjoy a farm drive (where you can spot game like giraffe, wildebeest and antelope), and you’ll be taken to the meerkat burrows. A hot cup of coffee is served as guests wait for the perfect moment to see these Karoo creatures peek out from their burrows. The ostrich farm tour gives guests a unique behind-the-scenes look into the ostrich industry Oudtshoorn is known for across the world. If you’re lucky, you may even see an ostrich chick hatch!

8. At AfriCamps at Oakhurst in Wilderness, you MAY save 20% on long horse trails, or the 30-minute horse trail!
Horse riding is one of Oakhurst Dairy Farm’s most popular activities and a great way to explore the 640-hectare Garden Route dairy farm. Oakhurst’s careful and considerate guides help both guest and steed along every step of the way. Choose between the forest, field and farm trail, or the Avenue trail. The forest field and farm trail is a 1h15min trail that shows different vantage points of the farm, with your guide pointing out bird and plant life along the way. The avenue trail allows riders aged 8 and up a 30-minute ride through the famous tree-lined avenue.

9. At AfriCamps at Ingwe in Plettenberg Bay guests will receive a complimentary 350ml bottle of Gluwein to heat up in the tent and enjoy.

10. At AfriCamps Addo, guests staying in May will be the first to experience, not only a brand new camp, but also a brand new tent layout!
At AfriCamps Addo our tents are rotated to maximise views, and each tent has a massive L-shaped deck that wraps around the length of the tent. In May, you’ll be one of the first guests to experience this brand-new camp opening on 5 May. Another amazing addition to the new tent layout is the hammock net where guests can relax over the views of the neverending thicket below. Guests staying in our opening month will also take home a proudly South African souvenir indigenous to the Eastern Cape…
