Youth day is a special day for young people in South Africa. It is national holiday that is held in 18 countries! The United Nations has also officially recognized this day as a public holiday.
The Youth Day was set up during the fierce demostrations during the Soweto Uprising
During this 3 day public holiday, it is a great opportunity to spend some extra time with your children or loved ones.
