10 YEARS OF AFRICAMPS
Inspired by the European glamping trend and their love for South Africa, AfriCamps’ founders, Jeroen and Manou, met in Cape Town and instantly connected as two Dutchies with a shared dream. They saw an opportunity to make glamping more accessible in South Africa and built their first AfriCamps tent from scratch in 2014.
Since then, AfriCamps has grown into a bucket-list collection of outdoor destinations with 184 handmade tents across 18 locations in South Africa. Our camps, built in partnership with local landowners, have redefined glamping while supporting local industries and communities across the country.
Our boutique tents are fully equipped with life’s little luxuries, including indoor fireplaces, outdoor wood-fired hot tubs, fully kitted kitchens, comfy extra-length beds, and spacious decks with views of South Africa’s most beautiful landscapes.
